Buttocks Liposculpture

Fat from the buttocks is rarely suctioned. To achieve a desirable shape by removing fat deposits, Dr. Zirak will suction fat from the lower back, hips, and lateral thighs.

The procedure is performed under sedation on an outpatient basis.

A compression garment must be worn for six weeks.

Results begin to appear approximately two to three weeks after the operation. The final result is achieved only after three to six months. Note that the results are permanent as long as no weight is gained.

Sports activities can be resumed after six weeks.

Complications are extremely rare.

These are the complications inherent to any surgery: infection, hematoma. They are minimized by avoiding smoking three weeks before and three weeks after the operation; by avoiding anti-inflammatory drugs or acetylsalicylic acid the week before the procedure, by administering pro-coagulant products, and by wearing the compression garment day and night for six weeks. Finally, irregularities may appear despite flawless technique. This is due to the intrinsic characteristics of certain skin types. For this reason, Dr. Zirak systematically conducts a precise skin analysis before undertaking any technical procedure.
