I am amazed at the number of patients who consult a practitioner based solely on the marketing surrounding them, without considering their actual skills.
Indeed, there are obviously major differences between us, Plastic Surgeons, and any other practitioners.
Thanks to our training, we can provide the best possible response to our patients' requests because we are the only ones capable of combining techniques from Aesthetic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, and Aesthetic Medicine.
Moreover, we are the only ones with genuine training in evaluating skin quality and its attachments to underlying structures, addressing the major issue of loss or displacement of body volumes, the harmony of different aesthetic subunits, and the impact of all this on body image.
How to Choose
Your Plastic Surgeon?
To choose your Plastic Surgeon, I believe the best way is to consider the following elements:
- Do you feel comfortable with them? Do you feel confident with this practitioner?
Do they take the time to ask you questions, examine you, and explain the different options available to meet your request?
Is their approach holistic, considering the harmony of your body, or does it only address the issue you presented?
- Do you find their aesthetic analysis coherent?
- Does their aesthetic sensitivity align with yours?
Of course, you have the opportunity to check online the Curriculum Vitae, titles, and membership of this practitioner in scientific societies.
It is very difficult to recover the result of an intervention performed outside the rules of the art.
Remember that you only have one body, and it deserves the best possible care to ensure it is and appears healthy.
Do not base your choice on cost, but rather on the above elements, which simply stem from common sense.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Dr. Christophe Zirak
