Post-Bariatric Surgery - Thighs
As with the arms, the main consequence of massive weight loss is the persistence of excess skin, especially on the inner thighs.
The lift leaves a scar in the groin fold, sometimes associated with a longitudinal scar on the inner thigh.
As with the arms, healing issues are common but not serious.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Post-operative pain is mild.
Sports activities are prohibited for six weeks.
The final result is achieved after three to six months.
