Labiaplasty or Nymphoplasty

Labiaplasty or nymphoplasty refers to the surgery of the vulvar lips.

These procedures aim to restore a harmonious balance between the different structures of the vulva.

Depending on the culture, beauty standards can vary greatly.
For instance, in some cultures, well-filled outer labia "camel toe" is a sign of youth and eroticism. In others, however, it is considered vulgar and unaesthetic.

In any case, a withered appearance is always seen as a sign of aging.

Similarly, while hypertrophy or asymmetry of the inner labia is primarily due to certain hormonal influences, they are wrongly considered as a sign of aging or, worse, as a consequence of promiscuity.

In all cases, Dr. Zirak will advise you on the appropriate measures to give your vulva a youthful, sexy, and harmonious appearance.

The Outer Labia

Hypertrophy
They can either be too large due to fat accumulation or too protruding due to excess skin.

Liposuction will suffice in cases of fat excess; a skin resection will reduce the projection of the labia, leaving a nearly invisible longitudinal scar.

These procedures can be performed under local anesthesia or sedation on an outpatient basis.

Resumption of sexual activities and sports will occur after one to two weeks.

Hypertrophy or Flaccidity of the Outer Labia
In such cases, a lipofilling (injection of your own fat) will be performed to restore labial volume and give them that sensual firmness.

This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia or sedation on an outpatient basis.

Resumption of sexual activities and sports will occur after one to two weeks.

The Inner Labia (Nymphoplasty)

The inner labia can be too large or asymmetrical, causing discomfort during intercourse or when wearing tight clothing. In such conditions, they are considered unaesthetic.

During these operations (nymphoplasty), which aim to reduce the projection of one labium or restore symmetry between the two labia, Dr. Zirak will perform a wedge resection (pie-shaped) rather than a longitudinal resection to preserve the pigmented free edge of the labium and leave a scar oriented along the axis of penetration. This ensures the procedure is invisible and perfect from an aesthetic standpoint and avoids dyspareunia (pain during intercourse) caused by the penis rubbing against a scar perpendicular to its path.

  • The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or sedation on an outpatient basis.
  • The sutures are absorbable and thus do not require secondary removal.
  • Resumption of sexual activities and sports will occur after two to three weeks.

Post-Operative Care

  • Post-operative swelling is present for one week.
  • Moderate pain is described for one to two days.

Results

  • After two weeks, everything appears normal, but the final result (flexibility, sensation) is achieved after three to six months.
  • The result has extraordinary longevity.
