International Francophone Congress of Mesotherapy

On November 21 and 22, 2025, the International Francophone Congress of Mesotherapy, chaired by my friend Dr Yvan Bartholomé, was held in Brussels at Delta Hospital.

The many speakers present highlighted the full potential of mesotherapy, ranging from purely aesthetic indications to more functional regenerative applications.

Deep hydration, bio-rejuvenation, the use of boosters and biomimetic peptides in the prevention and treatment of skin aging and alopecia, as well as the management of tension headaches, tendinopathies, osteoarthritis, and musculoskeletal injuries through mesotherapy, were extensively discussed.

Dr Zohra Fellah gave us extremely interesting presentations, particularly on the management of cellulite and genital rejuvenation. This complements the therapeutic arsenal we offer our patients between intimate medicine and surgery. Indeed, I offer patients who feel the need a surgical rejuvenation of the vulva (nymphoplasty +/- lipofilling of the labia majora), vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty), and for men, penile lengthening and/or penile girth enhancement through lipofilling.

Finally, Professor Cristina Reynders presented, among other topics, an excellent presentation on the use of mesotherapy in the treatment of lipedema.

I personally had the privilege of presenting the surgical approach to lipedema, particularly the technique of lymphatic-preserving liposuction, which I combine with bipolar radiofrequency using the Quantum device from the brand @Inmode.Belgium. This combination makes it possible to achieve impressive aesthetic results that we could not previously hope to attain in the treatment of these conditions.
